The ASEAN Law Institute will develop strong partnerships with ALA committees, multilateral development institutions, law faculties, and legal research centers.

The difficult challenges posed by ASEAN harmonization, regionalization, and dispute resolution require the strongest cooperation and coordination among all the stakeholders in all the ASEAN member states, including the national governments, national officials, judges, private lawyers, legal scholars, business groups, civil society, and multilateral development institutions.

The ASEAN Law Institute will develop close working relations with the ALA National Committees and the ALA Standing and Ad Hoc Committees. The Institute will also seek to create strong partnerships with universities and law faculties, as well as with legal research centers and like institutions and programs, such as the Asian Law Institute, the Asia Business Law Institute, and the ASEAN Law Academy.
